Unsigned Tansel Horn, circa 1830

Museum condition unsigned Tansel Horn, circa 1830. 11" long with a very detailed country gentleman with a top hat riding his stallion in pursuit of a running deer. There are two fine hounds chasing with a bold Federal Eagle. There is a very fine border patterns. There are other cartouches as well. The base plug is 3" across and slightly domed with a hand forged staple. The surface of the horn is hand polished, smooth as glass. There is some lighter color horn showing through from rubbing against the hunting pouch. The overall condition is as good as it gets.
