Folding Knife by Scott Allman

I finished this folding knife up just only recently. It seems for me that forging takes place in the milder spring, summer & fall here in Pennsylvania, while assembly and finishing is a wintertime shop event.

My knife design is based on those as seen in George Neumann's book page #174 numbers 25 &26 and was sized for my own personal carry. It is hand forged, patina aged & crafted in an 18th century manner by me.

The steel is 1095 and the scales are aged PA deer antler shed held on by copper peened pins. The main pivot pin & other pins are lower carbon steel.
