This horn is after an original VA/NC horn. It has a pinned horn tip, two applied horn bands and threaded button that screws out of the butt for ease in filling the horn. In addition, it has an engraved section showing the pinwheel design with "love birds". The design is enhanced with polychrome. The horn is 11-3/4" across and approx. 2-1/2" diameter at the butt. The threaded and turned horn button in the center of the ash butt screws out to allow easy filling of the horn. The horn is just right for a hunting sized horn and has been "aged" to look like it was carried for years.
