Allen Martin

This rifle was finished in September 2005. It is a copy of a Herman Rupp with a touch of the early John Moll and healthy dash of Allen Martin!! It has a 49-1/4" 54 caliber barrel, a completely reworked lock, curly maple stock, cast brass buttplate, trigger guard and patchbox, all other mounting handmade from sheet. Raised carving with a bit of brass wire inlay... A few sterling silver inlays...

Copy by Allen Martin and photographed at the 2011 CLA Show by Jan Riser.
